Most people prepare for a conference by packing clothes, making travel plans, and checking schedules.
But what if the most important preparation isn't in your suitcase?
What if it's in your heart?
Throughout Scripture, every significant move of God begins with people who are willing to let Him search them first. David didn't ask God to change everyone around him. He invited God to begin with him.
Before you ask God to speak at Awaken, ask Him to reveal what may be keeping you from hearing His voice.
Maybe it's distraction.
Maybe it's hidden sin.
Maybe it's disappointment.
Maybe it's simply exhaustion.
God doesn't expose our hearts to shame us. He searches us because He loves us too much to leave us where we are.
Awaken doesn't begin when the first session starts. It begins the moment you invite God to search your heart.

- What has occupied my attention more than God lately?
- Is there anything I've been avoiding bringing before Him?
- What am I hoping God will do in me this weekend?
Prayer
Father, I don't want to simply attend another conference. Search every part of my heart. Reveal anything that keeps me from knowing You more deeply. Prepare me for whatever You want to do. Amen.
