Deaf Millennial Project ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Awaken 2026 conference app ("the App").   • Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Profile information: Display name, bio, photo, church, city, phone number, and social media handles you choose to add to your profile.
  • Registration data: Your Brushfire attendee information linked to your conference ticket.
  • Community content: Posts, comments, and notes you create within the App.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the App, including device type and access times.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Verify your conference registration and grant access to App features.
  • Display your profile to other verified attendees and facilitate community connections.
  • Send you important conference updates and notifications.
  • Manage workshop registrations and event check-in.
  • Improve the App and its features.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your profile information (display name, bio, photo, and contact details you choose to make visible) is shared with other verified conference attendees within the App. We may share information with third-party service providers (such as Brushfire for ticketing) who help us operate the App. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your profile information at any time within the App. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your profile, posts, comments, notes, and friend connections will be permanently removed.

7. Third-Party Login

The App offers sign-in through Google and Apple. When you use these services, we receive your name and email address to create and link your account. Your third-party credentials are never accessed or stored by us.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for attendees ages 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
